I was a super-cautious baby so it took me until 1956 to start walking.
My only recollection of this year was crawling around on the floor of our apartment at the Twin Oaks Apartments in Decatur, Ga. I still get a warm fuzzy feeling when I crawl around on the floor near heating vents.
